Arrival of lionesses

Arrival of beasts of prey is a big event for every zoo, because immediately they become an icon of the animal collection. Females Bona and Lisa are Katanga lions, a subspecies of lion, and they were born in Lisbon. In 2013, only 13 European zoos bred Katanga lions.
